History:

The Association of Canadian Industries Recycling Coal Ash (CIRCA) incorporated in December 2002 to enhance its ability to deliver on educational, legislative and environmental objectives that promote the recycling and use of Coal Combustion Products.

Launched in October 2001, CIRCA evolved from the Coal Combustion Products Interest Group, first struck in 1998 under the auspices of the Canadian Electricity Association, Technologies Division.
